What we collect

When you use Butterbridge, we collect:

• Your Google account information (name, email, profile picture) for authentication
• Phone numbers you call through the service
• Call metadata (duration, languages used, timestamps)
• Payment information processed securely through Stripe

What we do NOT collect

• We do not store call recordings or audio
• We do not store transcriptions or translations after the call ends
• Real-time audio is processed in memory and discarded immediately

Third-party services

Butterbridge uses the following services to operate:

• Twilio — phone call connectivity
• OpenAI — real-time speech transcription
• DeepL — text translation
• ElevenLabs — text-to-speech synthesis
• Stripe — payment processing
• Google — authentication
• Supabase — database hosting

Each service has its own privacy policy. Audio data is streamed through these services in real-time and is not permanently stored by Butterbridge.

Cookies

We use a single signed session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking cookies or analytics are used.

Data retention

Account data and call metadata are retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us.
